I bought Sol De Janeiro’s Cheirosa 59 Delicia Drench hair and body perfume mist approximately three months ago. I bought the full-size (8.1 fl oz) bottle as a “blind buy” from Amazon. I rarely buy a fragrance without smelling it first. However, I love Sol De Janeiro’s Cheirosa 68 and Cheirosa 71 so much that I figured I would give a “blind buy” a shot.
As soon as I opened the package, I sprayed the perfume mist twice in my kitchen. The room immediately smelled delicious. I first picked up on the florals. According to Sol De Janeiro’s website, the florals in the Cheirosa 59 are orchid and violet. The perfume mist also contains plum, vanilla, amber, sandalwood and vetiver.
The second fragrance note my nose picked up on is the vanilla, immediately followed by the sandalwood. I do not usually enjoy sandalwood in fragrance products. However, I feel that the sandalwood works well in Cheirosa 59 Delicia Drench. The sandalwood note is not overpowering and it perfectly complements the vanilla and the florals.
So far, I have used approximately one quarter of my full-sized bottle so far. This surprises me because I rarely use fragrances that quickly. Overall, I would give Sol De Janeiro’s Cheirosa 59 five out of five stars.
